Karnataka Flood Fund - Oct.2009 Update

Namaskara,

I am sure you are already aware of the calamity that hit Karnataka in the last few days. The heavy rain and the subsequent flood is considered one of the worst and its effects not only have high impact now but also for some time to come especially on the people and farmers in the flooded areas. As 2.5 million victims suffer from continued lack of food, water, clothes and shelter, it is a staggering effort for any government/organization to mobilize the help needed. Let us help in whatever way that we can to alleviate the suffering and in that regard please write/email to your local members in helping the flood victims. I have provided few links below here that would be of interest you in this regard.
